Marilyn Blackburn was an extraordinary teacher for 37 years.  She belonged to Alpha Delta Kappa Honor Society, the book club and the Salvation Army, and she was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Her husband Dan had a successful career with Southwestern Bell and was on the chainsaw crew with the Southern Baptist Church Disaster Relief Team
